JTA CHEER

JTA Cheer builds lifelong values through participation in the team sport of cheer including those such as Dedication, Self Confidence, Goal Setting, Determination, Cooperation, Teamwork, Self Discipline, Integrity, Citizenship, Sacrifice, Responsibility, Pride, Leadership, Character, Sportsmanship and the Importance of Fitness.

CHEER REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 30th

Registration for Jenks Trojan Athletics is through Sportabase. Once on the Sportabase website, choose the sport "Cheerleading", Registration Category "Player", League "Indian Nations Spirit & Cheer", Club is "Jenks Trojan Athletics-Cheerleading".  You must agree to all the terms and may need to accept pop-ups to continue.  You will be required to pay with a credit card at checkout. The Cheerleading Registration Fee is $200.  Scholarships are available for those in need.  Please contact us at info@jtasports.com for questions or more information.

JTA realizes that the cost of participating can be expensive and we seek to assist members who have financial limitations.  Financial assistance is available for a limited number of families who qualify.  JTA is a non-profit organization, but we want all kids to have the opportunity to participate, regardless of their financial situation.  Please feel free to contact us at info@jtasports.com for more information.  All conversations and information concerning financial assistance will be extremely confidential and only a limited number of Executive Board members will be involved in the financial assistance process.

Cheer Uniforms for 2024

JTA Cheer changed to Rebel Uniforms last year and we will continue to use the same uniforms in 2024. 

 

May 20th @ 6:15pm, Sharp Center 3rd Floor - Cheer uniform fitting 

 

NOTE: cheerleaders must attend or turn in size before May 30th for premium pricing.  After June 1st uniform cost will increase 10%.

June 11-13, 9:30am - 11:30am

@JTA Fields (Behind Reasor's in Jenks)

 

MS/Varsity cheer will assist teaching girls JTA cheers, sideline dances and the fight song.  Great time to meet your squad and get to know each other...or get back in the groove of being a team!

 

We will separate into groups on the JTA Field and practice fields.

Day 1 - any Jenks shirt & black shorts with a white bow

Day 2 - fun colored camp shirt & white shorts with white bow

Day 3 - Jenks spirit camp shirt & black shorts with a white bow

Please make sure cheerleaders have tennis shoes and bring water!

JTA HALFTIME CAMP - Each squad will schedule halftime camp before the season begins.  More information will be provided by your squad sponsor.

JTA Cheer Important Dates

May

  • 15th - Sponsor enrollment & background check entry deadline

  • 20th @ 6:15pm, Sharp Center 3rd Floor - Cheer uniform fitting

  • 30th - Registration closes

  • Parent Meetings will be scheduled in June

  • 11th-13th - JTA Cheer Clinic

July 

  • TBD - INFC Coaches Meeting - All squads need to have 1 rep present.

  • Halftime Camps will occur in July and will be scheduled by your squad sponsor

  • 15th - Practices can begin.

August

  • 15th - First day of school

  • 23rd - Trojan Preview Scrimmage and JTA run on at 5:30pm (Allan Trimble Stadium)

  • 24th - First JTA Game (full season schedule will be released the week of first game)
